That said, I added coyote mirrors and foot pegs for when the doors are off. (Minnesota doesn't require the additional mirrors but some states do.) Makes the summer drives more enjoyable.

Thanks! Those are some great ideas for DIY top lifts! The video gave me an idea. If I attached the straps to the top of my lift cross bar, then lift the Jeep slightly, attach the straps to the unbolted top, and then lower the Jeep the top would be hanging there and I could drive the Jeep out from under the lift. So basically, instead of raising and lowering the top, I would raise and lower the Jeep instead. I'll have to play around with it to see if that will work.
