Mine look way different than yours do. I'd give them a call and send them back. It looks like they forgot to metal finish them before sending them to the powder coater or something. I would not be happy with those.

I bent the two tabs that go through the small holes and that allowed the light to sit more flush. I then just pushed the edging around the light towards the truck. I think another option would be to find some rubber trim it's a little taller and see if that helps. But the metal finish on mine looks way better than that.Do you have an upclose picture of yours? Do the the front leading edge of your light housings have a 1/4" gap between the jeep bed and light housing?
That's not the point I was making at all. I was simply saying it's in the same cosmetic category of "you can like them, even if the majority don't". That's all. I wasn't comparing function. Not sure how a simplistic, functional, steel housing that can most likely take a hit without cracking or breaking is getting into angry grill territory.
Angry grills are completely useless.
Personally, I built my truck for function. Nothing flashy or for looks.
I don’t like the looks of Oracles either. I bought those because I knew 100% I would smash the factory lights on a rock or tree, and the Oracles are much more flush. The JeepSteel ones are perfect for my intended use. If I weren’t worried about bashing lights, I would have just kept the factory ones.
I would say that if a guy like me, who personally hates anything extra, Angry grills, graphics, giant light bars, 20” wheels, Jeep names on hoods, bolt on junk of any kind, etc., finds these lights useful, I don’t think they are close to angry grill territory.
But, possibly, I’m just a closeted angry grill lover ?‍![]()
