I second the reply re: Rockhard Bumpers. I have the mid-width aluminum model on both our JK and JT. Mid-width gives more protection than a stubby, and does not rub the tires like a full width can when fully stuffed and turned. The bumper extends down to protect the frame crossmember and I believe is rated for flat-towing as well. The weight savings compensate for some of the added weight of a winch. RockHard's powder coating is high quality and the bumpers are American made.

Just added this Stubby to my Gladiator '24.
Pretty stout, has wench plate. Factory fogs went in with a little help from the belt sander on the metal lip that was left when they cut the tube for the light. 2 minutes work + 15 minutes to remember where I put the sander.
141.01$ on Amazon, made by Eoctric.
5 weeks in the rain in Fl an NC only one minor issue is the chrome plateing on the 8 Brush Guard bolts is more of a "suggestion of chrome". I'll be replacing them with something better next time I get to the ACE hardware store.

KC 6" long range halagen, i forget the model number.
When my brother and I were barreling down the Montana roads at 0' Dark 30 in the morning we found that them big deer and other critters would appear in front of us a little sooner than my eyes, brain and sphincter liked.

9150# Apollo Pro 6" Spot found the part number. Been using them for almost 2 years.

That is good info right there. I figured some of these bumpers that say they don’t work with OEM LED’s can actually fit them in there with a little determination and a file. Or a sander…

Not the greatest photo but I'm very happy with my 'plastic' bumper and Badlands 12K winch.

You guys are awesome!
Give it time, that opinion will likely change. Especially in a thread about ducks, motor oil or "which bumper should I get."

Oops.

Hey McRuss, how did you accomplish that? Please explain… I currently possess one of those plastic bumpers.
