Mopar unveiled a new style JL and JT front Steel Bumper, More details to follow on our site as we are currently adding it but here is what we have thus far.

The new Mopar Off-road Front Bumper is wide enough to provide fender protection but is narrower than stock bumper. The heavy duty design is rigorously tested for performance, durability, and corrosion. Bumper is steel e-coated and black powder coated with D-rings for extra towing capability. Bumper is fully compatible with Jeep Performance Parts Rubicon Winch and maintains vehicle compliance.

So when someone clicks the steel bumper option on the build sheet, are they going to get this instead of the existing steel bumper with removable wings? Because in all honesty, I prefer that one to this new version (especially in stubby form).

No from what we understand this is an Accessory add on not a build option.

Thanks,

Yeah a 3rd party one is going to be way better and cost less. Pretty ridiculous. I hope they don't sell any and feel bad about what they did.

Sorry man. Didn't mean to make you think I was blaming you. I appreciate you posting this stuff and letting us know what's available.

No apologies needed but thank you! We will continue to put out there new stuff as we come across it. Some parts make sense dollar wise and some may not and we certainly understand this.

Thanks,
Benny

I actually really like this. I always felt the stubby was a little to narrow. This reminds me of a cut down arb unit. I just wonder if you have to use those bumper pads?

Once it gets added to our dealer data we may be able to see how they attach and if they can be removed.
