jay21mojave - you're absolutely correct. I plan to install them and then not mention it the next time I'm in for an oil change/tire rotation. I feel pretty stupid even calling them about it, but I've been going to this dealer for years so I thought it was a "friendly" call for information. I will say that my dealer has had some recent turn-over in techs. The two guys I've been dealing with for over 10 years have both left in recent months. That should've been my first clue of things changing. Oh well, I'm excited as hell to get my Falcon's installed next week.

A lot of this is also cya. They can't say oh no it's still covered and then have this falcon shock be too long and your coil falls out in the back, damage something and say oops and eat the repair.

The way to think of this is the part you replace is definitely not covered and any damage that may result from the parts function is also not covered.

Not covering your water pump because of some shocks, that's BS. Not covering your swaybar tab because the shocks are longer, that's a possibility.

I appreciate all the submissions here and I guess the bottom line is that if a related part were to fail, they'd try to pin it on the Falcon shocks, well, because they can. Other warranty items couldn't / wouldn't be affected. I had an inkling about this going in, but I made the decision to install them anyway. It's on me, and I got it. It just infuriates me that at the first mention of non-Mopar aftermarket parts, they scream warranty termination. Some half-assed tech writer who doesn't have the authority to make decisions is spewing out warranty advice without anything to back it up. Like I said, I'm a big boy and I made the decision, now we'll see how it plays out in the future. Hopefully I'll have no suspension issues and it becomes a moot point.
