I'd budget for longer shocks. If it's a true 1.5" change you'd probably be okay, but for whatever reason most lift mfg's underestimate their actual lift. 1.5" coils could result in 2-2.5" of lift

For on road only you may be okay. Personally I wouldn’t risk it. But im neurotic and it would bother me endlessly knowing the shocks weren’t correct for the lift height.

You can always get shock extension brackets. Theyre relatively inexpensive when compared to buying new shocks

Drive it and see, if the shocks are maxing out going over simple speed bumpe etc you’ll feel and hear it and want to make an adjustment…

I have 3/4 inch rear spacers on my Mojave and all is very well, if I go to the AEV 2 inch or 2 inch springs I will add 2 inch extensions and bump-stops.

I really like the way my Willy’s rides. My understanding is it has the same shock a JL rubicon has (the red shocks )
Any suggestions on what shock would give a similar ride quality . We live in some pretty rough off the path country but full flex rock climbing is not in my future.

You would probably like the Rubicon fox shocks then. Usually you can find a set of takeoffs relatively inexpensive.

But if you’d like the ride of your current shocks… Shock extensions are still the least expensive way to go.
