New Shoes: Mickey Thompson

At 40k miles decided to replace the stock tires. Went with Mickey Thompson baja legend EXP on my Freedom edition. . Did a lot of research and kept seeing that even with a pretty aggressive pattern these were quiet on road. I'm old school so went with white letters out, and I think they look great.

Well I can say that I was surprised at how quiet these are for a hybrid tire. Can't wait to get them on the beach.

I had those on my Raptor and loved them. Rode good and were amazingly quiet for as meaty of a tire that they were. Really great off-road, too. Just wish they had more C rated options in the 33-35 inch range. I had D rated 317/70/17s and they did ride a little stiffer than the C rated BFGs they replaced. And yeah, white letters out!

I really like the quadratec OEM replicas like you have. They designed it with the perfect offset.

I have the MT Baja Boss and would recommend them to anyone. I like them on and off road. Great tires.
