Love the look. Question, why did you wrap half the hood scoop?

Awesome rig I am really digging this! I heard STT Pros are great tires, any reason for the desire to change to trail grapplers?

Cheers

I love the sst’s..
Yet, im
Opting for trail graps for the extra 1.2inches..the coops are a lil too small for a gladdy. My axles aren’t ready for 40s…so im gonna give them a whirl..

Looks awesome, you have way more guts than me taking a $45,000+ brand new truck out in all that.

Yea I am in a similar boat...40s are too much to build around especially for a Mojave so have been researching 38s and debating for a while. I want to move up from my 35s and 38s are perfect in my mind but options are very limited.

I would love to run the Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS in a 38x13.5 but they would have some serious drawbacks for a daily driver but look awesome and perform amazing offroad. The only other 38s for a 17" wheel that are not 15.5" wide are the Nitto Trail Graps, Ridge Graps and the Milestar Patagonia. The Nittos are not the greatest option up here in the PNW in my opinion and I refuse to run Pats for many reasons. I haven't decided yet but will likely suck it up and run the Baja Pro XS or 37" Baja Boss.

Please post some updated pics once you get the 38s mounted!

Cheers

I’m surprised trail graps don’t do well out there.. we have similar slopfest terrain 😂

they are pretty equal to my coops, except probably 20% more directional pull…not horrible, just noticeable..

ill keep ya posted!

Just a AEV Lift 2in helps you get 37s under there? Have been contemplating lifting my Mojave but worried about the ride quality after as it’s my daily and wondering if you changed any other suspension parts. Thanks

Ride quality will be very similar, without substantial geometry changes with a 2in lift you really don’t need anything else. I did trim the rock slider 2in to keep from rubbing

This is a great build and gives us some ideas. We just picked up a Mojave and are planning on running the 37s-39 range with a fender chop and maybe the AEV 2" lift if needed. Did you have any problems with those 13.5 rubbing on the Mojave shocks?
