Hello all.
After a three week search while browsing the forum and asking questions/ reading posts and researching, I found our Gladiator. Traded today our 2020 2-door JL base Sport S on this 21,000 mile 2020 JT Sport S in Gator with cold weather package w/ remot start, tow package, 7” UConnect, & premium soft top. Got a great deal from a local dealer we’ve dealt with several times over the years. Couldn’t be happier, and more importantly, the wife couldn’t be happpier. Glad to be back in a four door & with a truck bed.

I had the dealer swap my 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers to our ‘new’ Gladiator from our 2-door JL (only 3,000 miles on them).
Plans for our Gladiator include:

* 1.5” front leveling kit + alignment this week
* on order - Tan SofTopper bed cap (looking forward to seeing this color combo. Went tan with the SofTopper b/c the black SofTopper is similar to black diamond, a bit subdued grey, and we have the rich black premium soft top). I think the tan will look great with the Gator body, black top, & black wheels
* on order - ADARAC Pro truck bed rack system for over the SofTopper
* mopar passive entry kit - first must check my door wiring to see if the correct harness is there. Fingers crossed but will go thru the steps to make it work either way
* order a z automotive mini tazer to enable the passive entry, + other features
* plasti dip the stock wheels black
* side steps - we like the Tyger star metal tube steps we got for the 2door JL, keeping my eyes open for a used set
* still search for or trying to figure out a custom windshield hoop to use as front supports while carrying paddle boards on the adarac rack system. Something similar to the ARS windshield hoop adventure rack, or the Rugged Ridge hoop bar for the JK, but not as beefy or costly (only looking to support 100lbs max, and to support or tie down the front of 14ft long paddle boards to keep the, from catching wind and stress fracturing upwards at highway speeds). Think like a windshield frame led light bar, a couple inches above the windshield, using the existing windshield frame bolts.

Anyway, thanks for a great forum and thanks for all the help answering questions this past couple weeks. Lots of good info on here, and the forum search feature is your friend.
Cheers ??✌

Nice jeep ? I have 285/70/17s as well on a sport S big difference from the stock tires. Good luck with it.

Out of curiosity did you use a tazer or JScan to change tire size, I was having a heck of a time trying to dial in the right size but reset to stock setting which I believe was 32.2 and I feel it feels the best as far as shift points

hey Joe.
I did not use the Tazer or JScan yet. On our 2-door JL I did not use anything to change the tire size in the computer either. I do plan, however, to purchase a Tazer to do just that on our Gladiator. Hope to dial it in without issue, but we’ll see ?
