Hello, I just signed papers on a 2020 gladiator sport s manual transmission. The car should arrive in my state for pick up this week. I have a history of JDM cars and mustangs so, this is new territory for me!
Excited to explore the aftermarket that jeeps have.
if anyone has advice on first mods/most important improvements I am happy to hear! Once I receive my truck, I plan to do suspension, wheels and tires, then go from there.
Thanks!

Congrats Matthew. I came from a sports car background in 2020 and now we're on our 3rd Jeep. Take your time. You might want to live with it for a little while and then figure out what you want to upgrade.

Coming from JDM and Stangs, you're used to low stance with low profile wheels and tires. Jeeps are the opposite. Lift and beefy wheels and tires. Enjoy the journey

Yep. Drive it for a bit. I too came from JDM stuff and the Jeep was an eye opener. No more inner fender stabilizers and Greddy plenums. Now it’s gonna be light bars and adjustable reservoir shocks for flexy stuff. Welcome to the Madness!!!! It’s just as bad here!!! :like:

I purchased a new 2024 Sport S in May of last year. Other than adding a bed cover and side steps, it is bone stock. I use it for traveling and enjoy getting 24-25 MPG on average. Once you modify the suspension and slap on the big tires, the mileage will be the first thing to go. The other thing I'll mention is the Sport S has a wonderful suspension when it comes to long hours in the seat. I drove from Memphis, TN to the North Eastern NC Coast in a single day without ever getting sore.
Congratulations on your new truck, and enjoy whatever mods you decide to do.
There's no wrong way to enjoy a Gladiator. 👍
