I’m a previous owner of a 2018 JL Rubicon and just purchased this Gladiator with 85000 miles. Everything appears to be reasonable condition. I am asking what should I be aware of to keep an eye on? (If I had access to this Forum before purchasing I would have asked then). It had a great CarFax Report. Appears the Auxiliary battery was removed.
Welcome to the club. Being rid of the aux battery is a blessing. I took mine out and put in the biggest main battery I could fit. Connected the aux battery positive lead of the main battery and start/stop works most of the time. A simple restart fixes it if it stops working.

The aux battery was a constant issue and having it gone has been great.

my 2021 had garbage Fox sox. The axle position sensor went bad. My transmission output seal needed to be replaced and my drain plug because superman at teh dealer put it on way to F'in tight and i had to use Vice gripe to get it off on my first personal oil change after teh free ones.

any recommendations on GPS Trail Maps?
I just took my Garmin for a “spin” in the desert. If you don’t need to know every bit of information about a trail before you hit it it’s pretty good. Gives you the ability to navigate off-road and get back out again.

Have you ever used the trail recorder in the on board Navigation of the Jeep? Its pretty amazing and you definitely won't get lost because it saves the start and the end . And will take you right back

Is the "recorder" you're talking about something in the 8.4 Mopar screen?

37's would look much more appropriate for that lift. Looks like you'd still have plenty of room at full flex too.

Not the one in the Jeep, if it has it. Not sure on that one. I have used it many times on different Garmin to get myself back to around the start point. Honestly didn’t know that feature was in there. Guess I’ll have to poke more buttons.

It works fantastic and saves it as a trail that you can get guidance to any time in the future

Never heard of anyone's experience with a Rustys components lift.
I had a JL RUBI before I purchased this a few days ago. The suspension is Budget friendly and more for Daily Driving with not so extreme Off Roading (is how I understand) I have not yet taken it out yet beyond the Asphalt. Feels like it will be ok for my NC adventures. My last Rubi was great Offroad.
