Hi,
Never owned a Jeep before but I have decided to get a Gladiator. As much as I want a Rubicon because of the look, I am thinking maybe it does not make sense given my uses. I mainly drive city, some snowy winters, camp in provincial parks 4 or 5 times a year, visit Home Depot quite often and carry lumber, and at times may tow a small 5x9 enclosed trailer with lumber or other stuff inside. As much as I would love to try off roading, closest place I think is an hour away so while I may try it, will not become a weekly event.
I was thinking maybe a sport/willy's/overland makes the most sense then add options like the gear ratio for larger tires, max tow or other towing packages. Tow packages were a bit confusing, some of the models had max tow, others just tow. Some had the gear ratio change option allowing larger tires, others did not.
What makes the most sense cost wise for me?
Appreciate any thoughts.
