21 Gladiator Mojave Sting Grey. 2018 Audi S5
New to the forum. Just ordered a 21 Mojave sting grey. I have some time before its in (hurry up Toledo!). I am always amazed at the knowledge on boards like this and I have zero myself when it comes to this stuff. I readily admit I will not be doing much hard core off roading in my area. Maybe some beach driving and a few trails. My main priority is aesthetics.

So with that in mind help me on wheels. I do not like the stock black ones so I thought I would put on some custom wheels and keep same tires. Seems simple but I am all kinds of confused. Help me make this easy. Standard wheel is 17 by 7.5. Do I need to keep that same width or is there some leeway with those tires? Offset...the Mojave has a slightly wider stance than Rubicon and that’s one thing I liked about it. I don’t want to lose any width. If anything I wouldn’t mind having it a tad wider. Any downside to that? What should I be thinking about for offset and wheel width.

Note I want to avoid having to go to a shop and get custom work done. Hoping to just pop the tires on the new wheels. All that said, would the ”standard” size wheels I am looking at accommodate 35s if I wanted to go that direction later? I am not super picky about this stuff or trying to look as bad arse of some of the rigs I see here. Just want to zero in on what I need. Thanks so much in advance.
