I am going opposite of most posts I have found. I have a March 2020 Sport that came with the trifold soft tonneau. I got a killer $100 deal on an almost new Mopar roll up, however it’s for newer Gladiators.
My jeep had a M5 on the top hole with a rubber bushing type of nut. Then it has the M8 bolt on the bottom with a nut on bed.
The newer tonneau uses the top hole for its M8 bolt. I need a nut on the upper holes for the new tonneau.
Can I just use any round M8 rivnut and tool? The hole is not hexagonal. Is there anything that I need to consider when purchasing the tool (I.e clearance, sizing, etc)?
