I like our plan. Hoping to get up Washington. Never have done it in a four wheeled vic.

All four GMRS handhelds are charged and set to channel 21/0 as is my truck radio, so we all can have comms on the trail with spotters and crew. I have two Midlands and two DeWALTs that all have good range.

I’m almost ready! Finished full belly skid , kayak is for later up at Winter Island Mass.

40x40 asked me to message him when we have meetup location he is in a no phone service area , can he come to Dolly Copp?
Have not heard from Minty in awhile he was having issues. We are driving up Thursday have about a ten hour drive perhaps.
I’m fine with the Saturday trail ride, and running up Mt. Washington road too, we are leaving Sunday to head to Maine . Ya think there is cell phone service on the BOH trail ? Jack &Pat

I will be up mid-morning to lunch time. About a 2 hour drive from Frye Island, Maine on Sebago Lake. As everywhere up this way, there is spotty cell phone service as if we are in 1985!

oh man that bring back memories of my parents bag phone in the early 90's

I know last time I camped at Dolly Copp the higher sites didn't have service but the ones in the field did

I didn't know dewalt sold handhelds and they are in stock and take 10% off, looks like I'm hitting the Depot this afternoon ....

Also Bringing my 20 volt stuff (impact ,mini and saw) , its been pretty hot lately so we picked up the the dewalt fan! hope I have enough battery's lol
