I have an opportunity to hit new trails in Telluride this weekend and while nothing hard i do want to playa round with airing down.

On the freeway I run 35 but off road I've never found a number that made a difference (rampart range/dakan/easy stuff)

Would a decent starting point be 18psi lower/higher?

A couple of questions:
Are your tires beadlocked?
Do you have on board air?
How wide are your wheels?

We spend a few weeks in Moab every year in the winter, and with my 37” Baja Boss tires, I air down to 11 pounds for the first trail and I don’t air up until we are ready to head to our new location. Trails, asphalt, dirt… I never air up until I leave.

no bead locks on stock rims. I also have an ARB twin in my jeep as well.

I run same tire but a 12.50 instead of 13.50. I am beadlocked on an 8.50 wide wheel. I run 12 psi off road and it works well for me.
Same tire as OP that is. I could go lower but 12 works,
