Tuvak appears to be doing well since the treatment. Some of his personality has changed, other parts are the same. Instead of carrying the toy rats into the bathroom next to their feeder, he now carries his brother's toy pipecleaners with bells on them in there. But he straightens the coils out of them first. Weird.
He's gained just a little weight and that's a good thing. Can't feel his spine bones so much now.
Pickle is responding to the twice daily pills - pain in the butt to get him to take them, but it's working and he's himself - with a bit of weight put back on.
Expensive, time consuming, but wouldn't have it any other way -the rewards are far outweighing the other stuff.
I'm sure he's really helpful - their version of helping is often anything but.

Keebler reminds me of Pickle in a way.Sorry to hear that and hope it becomes manageable. Over the years between horses, cows, 10 litters of German Shorthaired Pointers and our cats I probably could have come close to buying a Gladiator outright if I added up all the vet bills.
