No treble

Update - figured it out. Tweeters blew. See post 5.

Anyone have a problem with the treble dropping out? Happened yesterday then just came back on. Was done this morning now it's gone again. All speakers work and the mid and bass ED settings work, treble does nothing.

Pulled the amp fuse to see if cutting is power would reset... nope.

7" Radio, Alpine audio. Swapped stock speakers with Kicker. Less that 3k miles.

Tried swapping to different audio sources, no luck.

Have both fuses (radio and amp) pulled. Letting it sit for 10 min then going to try again.

Treble is missing from all of the speakers so I don't think it's a loose wire.

Pulling fuses didn't work. Calling dealer in the morning, yay.

Figured it out... I guess you can't just hook up the Kicker 47ksc3504 3.5" direct. Might just be for the Alpine system. I didn't use the crossover that came with the speakers based on what I read.

If I connect the right spade to the center sound comes from the cone. One of the 4 started playing highs from the right terminal when I put pressure on the tweeter housing. No luck with the others.

Ordering one pair to see if that is indeed the issue.

Oh well... lesson learned. $160 lesson booo!

Installed new speakers. Everything is right in my world again

The Kicker 47ksc3504 crossovers fit in the front but they don't fit in the sound bar. I wrapped the crossover in a sheet of foam and wedged it between the sound bar and the speaker grill.
