My super red nekky no drill no wire tap cb /gmrs install.
I may end up with some sort of overhead mount, but the first thing I bought was a cb because the club I ride with most uses it. I also wanted gmrs with a little more power than handheld.
I decided to mount both to the same quadratec floor bracket - on opposite sides.
I wanted to cut power with acc off, and wanted to be able to remove everything when I don't need it. My solution was this little plug /port and an add- a -circuit off the fuse block to a 6 circuit power distribution block (for adding stuff later).
I ran the coax and the hot wire through the firewall on the driver's side. Ground is just forward of the radio on the trans tunnel.
Both mics are "nestled" on the same bracket.
Firestik antenna is mounted over the fender with a Right Channel Radios mount.
All connections were soldered/heat shrunk.
