First wifey had ovarian cancer, stage 4C. Had chemo every 21 days for 3 and a half years. I kept all of the bills of what the insurance paid out. My out of pocket was $3,500 a year. Insurance picked up $3.5 million in that time. One chemo treatment was between $22,000 to $24,000, depending on what drugs was used. The one treatment she had. She had to get a shot 24 hrs later. Given by someone who was certified to give it. That was $4,000. She put up a hell of a fight for that time.
