I. Fookin'. Did. It.

I've completed reading this thread in its entirety, starting back when it was at 593 pages.

It took me a couple of weeks but I kept at it...and I'm glad I did. I avoided going down any rabbit holes for the most part and typically avoided playing/watching the YT video's/songs in the interest of not unnecessarily dragging it out. I'm retired and obviously (1) has an arse-load of free time and (2) are easily amused.

What a ride it's been! This thread is the stuff of intrawebz legend and I didn't want to just jump on the bandwagon and post a "me too!" post; oh no, I'm invested in this mo-fo now!

Besides the artists/songs/videos the beer, whisky and coffee references along with assorted arguably insane rants and ravings, this is GOLD and this thread is not for the faint of heart or weak of character or intestinal fortitude.

With that being said if your one of the forum members that came in here to poo poo the glorious pontification this thread devolved into almost immediately...then you'd probably better fit in posting in the hypermileage threads on the Prius forums, 'cause you just don't get it.

Same goes for the attempts to censor or otherwise excessively moderate this thread, some folks need to get over themselves and stop power tripping, and getting permabanned for anything other than something everyone would agree is outrageous and egregious is weak azz sauce...
Welcome to the shit show.

Interesting thing about truth:
Whatever you believe to be the truth, right or wrong, is based on a value system not of morals, but on what weight do we give to words.
Words are arbitrary, they have a definition, but no inherent value - we ascribe a value to them.

So then the question becomes are we intelligent for the value we give a certain word, are are we just so flipping stupid, that we should be relegated to a world where the interwebs do not exist?

Asking for a friend.....

Last place I thought I would find an example of the philosophical concept of "Moral Relativism" would be on a Jeep forum.
