That is probably the coolest Renault Le Car that ever was.

When I was growing up in So Cal, we did the typical Hollywood tour. Going down the Hollywood freeway, we saw Phil Silvers driving a Le Car. He must have been pretty frugal with his money. Most of the stars back then, (early 70’s), were driving high dollar cars. We also passed Richard Dawson, driving a right hand drive Rolls.

Must be a California thing. Born and lived there until the early 1980's. Had a Uncle that had Le Car also during the 1970's. He seems to like misery because he always bought the weird quirky stuff back then like a Fiat 124 and one of the first Mazda rotary engine trucks. Bought a first year DeLorean back in the early 1980's also.
