I spent time in St Pete FL. TDY so you know the GOV wasn't paying for a star hotel. Prostitution ring was raided on second floor and drug ring being raided on another floor. At the time I was going through a counter T / security course. Got to watch one raid as I was returning from dinner.
I do believe the erased the whole last page of posts. Best post was when someone asked if that would be the last jeep he ever owned. LOLDammit

I was actually disappointed when I saw that post on the thread .... only because I was getting ready to post the same question.
Back around 1983. I was working for Goodyear. They sent me to Niles Ohio for some training. Was staying at the at some fancy motor lodge on the 3rd floor. They had an indoor pool in the center and all the rooms were around it. One morning I walked out of my room and looked over the handrailing into the pool. The pool was blood red with a guy floating face down on the water. The only thing he had on was a bath rob. Me and 2 other guys ran to the front desk and took them. Had to wait on the police to show up and give our statements. Was 3 hrs late for training. Told the Instructor what happened. Towards the end of the day. The instructor told us that we are now staying at another hotel. All of belongings was moved to the new place. What we found out a few days later. That it was a mafia hit.
