OEX Dual Exhaust Review

Bought an OEX Dual exhaust and had it professionally installed.

I feel like it is a complete waste of both time and money.

Quality

-both outlets on the exhaust had massive gaps that couldn't be closed with the clamps.
-Inlet pipe was tight, but the 3" inlet clamp was missing
- 1 of the 2 exhaust tips the outer shell didn't align with the inner shell so you couldn't get it straight.

Supposedly per the manufacturer there is not drone. The drone inside the cab between 1800 and 2300 RPM is deafening.

As far as loudness, my wife and daughter could hear it in the house over the TV when I got home from the muffler shop. WAY too loud.

I will be removing the system and putting the old one back on tomorrow!

I will only look into another exhaust when current one rots away. Reviews such as this make me more satisfied with what I have.

I would love to do an exhaust but without hearing these in person and the cost being so high ill just stick with the factory stuff. Good thread though.

I had a nice talk with these guys today. They were really standup guys and helped me out on this issue.

Turns out these OEX exhaust are the ACE exhaust. ACE never picked up their last order, so these guys need to get rid of them.

I chatted about the drone I experienced from the dual exhaust setup, and they are planning to work on it to see if they can fix the issue. ACE never said anything to them about the issue. We talked about the people that have done muffler deletes and had to add a 32" J pipe type resonator to kill the drone.

They are going to sell the crawler set up on ebay. I know we have users that have the ACE exhaust, did you experience any drone issues, if so how did you solve them?
