Options for tapping into interior light switch

Hey guys... I have an accessory that requires me to tap into the interior light switch on my gladiator.. I try to do everything I can to avoid actually splicing into the actual oem wiring harness on my brand new Gladiator..
Is there any options that I can do to get something to run off that interior light with out actually cutting into the original harness??
The pic is somthing that I am going to use when I need to tap into the Day time running lights
Is there anything like this to plug into the interior light then run accessories off of?? Or maybe another route to go??

The harness you show in the picture I believe connects to the lighting harness under your front inner wheel liner. I'm not aware of someone making a harness to connect to the inside switch, but maybe you can reach out to that company and see if they would make you one.

What accessory are you connecting, and what interior light are they asking you to tap? Just curious.

Do you have the factory installed Aux Switches?

If so, you have a bundle of wires in the footwell of the passenger side front. Included in that bundle is an always hot lead, and a switched lead.

The harness you show in the picture I believe connects to the lighting harness under your front inner wheel liner. I'm not aware of someone making a harness to connect to the inside switch, but maybe you can reach out to that company and see if they would make you one.

I am thinking about installing the Oracle side trax.. they mount on the side of the truck and flash with the turn signals and make a white entry light when tapped into the interior light.
So the Side Trax would tap in to the harness I posted for the directionals.. I also have Oracle heated LED headlights that I got for a deal during black friday.. I would also tap those into the Daytime running g lights on that harness.. instead of them being connected with a fuse tap to the cigar lighter fuse.. I just really hate tapping into to any mopar wiring harness being how fickle the canbus system is so I was hoping that someone may have walked down this road

The interior lights (I assume you mean the likes of the dome light) are controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module) which takes inputs from all the concerned switches and sends the appropriate voltage to lamps (LEDs.)
Here's the wiring diagram for the JL, which will give you an idea of what goes on in the JT...

Your best bet may be simply tapping into the needed wire.

I watches the oracle video, and I did tap the footwell wire to run rock lights to do just what you want them to do. I was trapped as well, but went with a positap which some people like more that the ones oracle provided. You could make your own harness that plugs into the footwell and has a pigtail off of that wire, but short of that I couldn't find an already made harness. Like I said you might be able to reach out to the people making the drl harness and see if they'll make you a custom one for the footwell.

Thanks for all the input.. I never used a positap before but after looking at them I may feel comfortable going that route if I cannot find any other options... The positap Definitely looks like a clean and safe option
