Has anyone had any issues with the new Oracle LED flat tail lights with the reverse lights only? I installed them and they often do not work or one works and the other doesn't. My Gladiator had halogen bulbs and switched to LED's. My Jeep does not have the ability to change it over to LED in the PCM. I also have the Oracle resistor plugged in that came with the lights.... Sometime they work sometimes they don't. I have contacted Oracle and they are no help.

Easy fix here since you have the bumper reverse lights as well. Eliminate the P&P harness for the bumper lights and tap the wires for each of those straight into the reverse light wires on the ORACLE side of the tail light harness. Here are the wires:

Please refer to my earlier post on the main thread for these tails. Quoted below.

Hey Everyone!

At the moment, we have a confirmed working solution we'd like to offer those of you who:
  • Have a Halogen equipped Jeep
  • Have the Flush Mount Tail-Lights installed
  • Are experiencing the Reverse Light strobing or shutting down
This solution involves tapping in a small resistor to the reverse light wires on each tail-light. The wires are pictured here:

We will be happy to ship the parts needed to do this for anyone who has already installed the tail-lights and are experiencing this issue. Anyone who has not yet received the tail-lights, please install them first and confirm the issue occurs before requesting these parts, as it does not occur on every Jeep.

To request these parts, simply complete this form: https://forms.gle/amY935MWuiuGp7Gv8

Once this form is filled out, one of our customer support reps will get the parts shipped to you right away.

NOTE: Currently, this solution only applies to users with Factory Halogen Equipped Jeeps. We are still working on a non-programmer solution for signal out error for Factory LED Equipped Jeeps.

Complete this form to get on the waiting list for that:

**Please do not DM this parts request on the forum**

I think they are still trying to get them to work without making you spend another $150 for JScan and obd.
FWIW I have less than $75 in my JSCAN setup (adapter, cable, and license). It may or may not do everything but I’ve fixed my tail light config, set new tire size, and adjusted TPMS psi setting without issue.

I have Oracle headlights and love them - plug and play. I want a set of these tail lights, but I’m not interested in tapping into other wires or using tazer. @ORACLElights let us know when these become truly plug n play.

Cables $20, OBD link Mx $120 plus JScan.

I didn't splurge for the rather expensive ODB Link MX. I bought the $31 VGate ICar Pro BLE. It's worked for everything I've needed. Figure I'd rather be out $31 bucks if I end up finding something it can't do versus spending $90 more and finding out I never needed any of the things that the cheap one supposedly can't do.

I know some people have said they found some limitations with the cheap ones but no one's really said what those were.

I ordered mine mid OCT... still nothing and no communication on any status...
But they have your money? :headbang:
Smells like a kickstart campaign to me.

They could at least give us an idea since THEY know. Our payment should at least provide some sort of transparency. I would be fine if at the time of order they just told my see you in 6 months after we use your payment to fund our production. COVID killed customer service!

Can you give me some details on your JSCAN setup. Which model jsacn, and whatever else you needed to make the fix. I looked to purchase and seen alot of different versions and not sure which will work? Thanks.
