I purchased a set from Amazon since I had a credit and got around to installing today. I removed the factory LEDs and moved over the blind spot sensors to the Oracle lights and installed the new lights. I thought things were working until I started up the beast and received a notification that blind-spot detection was disabled (not temporarily but disabled). I checked all wiring and same error. I moved the sensors back to the factory LEDS and installed the factory and all works fine. I will be returning the Oracle lights back to Amazon. Sorry Oracle. I like the look but hate the errors.

Chances are you got a bad set. And considering the purchase is through Amazon, I wouldn’t be surprised if you got a set someone else already returned. Sad truth these days is Amazon purchases aren’t remotely as reliable as actually cutting through the actual manufacturer. Either way, this is not normal.

Man, there is so much wrong with Amazon that the general public hasn't cottoned on to yet. Comingling of real products with knockoffs, comingling of new products with returned (but not returned to the supplier) products, absolutely BS reviews en masse.

It's a perfect example of how stressing the quarterly bottom line above all else creates a system that generates incentives for middle managers to cut corners. Kinda going through the same thing right now professionally. President of my company has been given a set of KPIs by corporate that he knows are not the best for the business long-term, but rather than correct the system he'd rather maximize his bonus since his plan is to retire in 2 years, and once the shit hits the fan he'll be on a beach. Multiply that by a million and you've got everything that's wrong with Amazon..

Look over the wiring to make sure that all the leads are soldered tight and that they all go to the same (correct) place. You may have a wire that is cross connected. Then see if you can make one side work with with the stock light on the opposite side plugged in. Then reverse.

I had a small issue with one of my lights. The reverse wire was not soldered very well, easy fix. Seems strange that these lights have so many issues. Some of these issues is just how most manufacturing is done today, to fast and no real QC.

It would be interesting to see what the issue is with your lights.

Be careful ordering car parts on amazon. It's one thing to send them back as they are being sold by another vendor (most likely) but I'm pretty sure Oracle's warranty doesn't cover Amazon purchases because they aren't an authorized vendor. I'm pretty sure they have a list of unauthorized vendors somewhere on their site.

I try to stay with reputable parts dealers like Northridge4x4, Extreme Terrain, Quadratec, etc...

Hi Don, Like many of the other members mentioned we are currently trying to clean up the amount of unauthorized sellers on Amazon, many of them sell returned our inauthentic products. I always recommend that you looks for "Sold by ORACLE Lighting" when shopping on amazon to guarantee authenticity.

However in the future even if your product was bought from a 3rd party, our tech support team is here to help with troubleshooting and if the product is authentic, you will still have warranty options. Please do not hesitate to reach out in the future and we hope you give us another shot.

Received my lights from Oracle a couple days ago and finally got them installed.

work fine with the BS sensors. Only issue is a small gap between light and bed. I wish they provided a rubber gasket around the light.

Hi, this may be due to overtightening. I have a trouble shooting guide here is you want to go through it.

  • First, position the tail-light where it is flush with the body panel on all sides.
  • Second, while holding the tail-light in position, fasten each bolt, careful not to overtighten (This can warp the tail light and cause it to be uneven around all edges).
  • After doing this, if there are still uneven gaps, slightly loosen top bolt then push the top of the light in & fasten. Repeat on bottom. Please see the video below explaining proper fitment install -

I did what is shown in this video and the lights fit more flush.
(I used some wire/side cutters though )

Thank you for sharing! Wire cutters are definitely the way to go for that, guy had me holding my breath with that sharp knife.?
