Oracle Tailgate Light Bar

I really like the look of the Oracle tailgate light bar, but I hate the "wrap around and under" wiring and how cheap it looks. Has anyone tried running the wiring through the tailgate instead of just taping it around and behind like in the instructions?

Following this thread as I like the look as well. But agree on the cheap look and wiring for the price. Curious to see what the feedback is.

Do you mind sharing the process you used? I'm guessing you went through one of the holes behind the "Jeep" badge and drilled a hole through the bottom side of the tailgate?
