I've been trying to figure out how to do chase lights without spending a ton of money and having another thing mounted to the truck. Oracle has these amber/white turn signal add-ons to make their turn signals euro legal, I figured I could find a flasher and make these flash and have custom chase lights. Turns out, it wasn't too bad.

I used a a bosch style relay and a switch up front, ran the wires to the flasher and mounted it on the back of the taillight housing. I'll post a night time vid later.

Well that's really neat. So you just flip a switch and they blink like that? Does braking and turning override that function?

I haven't tried it while putting it into reverse yet, good call.

Since my truck isn't euro spec the white lights are only turned on when put in reverse so they don't affect brakes or turn signals. The ambers are run through a single additional wire that I would assume is connected to truck's wire harness in a Euro version Gladiator.
