Update* inop today. However now there is a pattern on the right tail light. All other light functions still operate as normal. Upon start up with the lights on. The r tail will flash in pattern 3 times. On..off……..on..off……..on..off. Then will remain off. I am not sure if there is some type of internal failure and either need to switch brands or get another set. I have not found anything on the interwebs stating a non led to led needs a programmer if resistors are used.
I had the same on/off….on/off issue when I first installed mine. No second chances at that price. I put them back in the box and shipped them back to the reseller for a refund.
You shouldn’t have to jump through hoops, dance on one foot and rub one out to get these to work! F’ing ridiculous! Just my opinion.

Not to bump an old thread but I too am victim to these lights and an issue. Sometimes they work, Sometimes they do this. I have reached out to @oraclelighting for a solution as I really do like the way the lights look....

The Oracle team sent me a new set and they have worked flawlessly since. I have the JL set in my wifes 2 door and never had an issue.

Had these same issues as everyone else. worked after using a tazer. then started to have some issues. Went to unhook and re-install and noticed the inside had gotten so rusted out I just went back to the stock LEDs. Would love to have something similar in a flush mount that isn't crazy expensive that doesn't rust out.

It's crazy all the problems people have had. I'm sitting over here worried mine will start messing up.

My set has been plug and play since the first install. '21 JT Sport with non-led. I haven't had to reprogram anything. I had an initial problem where the LED tape inside the light came loose inside the housing. Oracle took one look at the pic I provided and had one in the mail to me same day. 3 days later, I had replaced the light. The build sticker on the lights was 8/2022

Is it possible for a JT to be all incandescent bulbs but set for LED?

I wouldn't worry about it unless you start having issues. Seems to be only JT and specific trucks.

I currently have this issue with my stock tail lights (non LED). I have the ugly square ones lol. But than again it could of been when my GF clipped her gate. I should be installing my oracle lights soon, I will follow up in a few days.

UPDATE*

The Jscan did fix the issue i was having. The lights work perfectly whether the resistors are plugged in or not.
Any problems with your 3rd brake light after using JScan? I installed them without the load resistor and used JScan to change the rear lighting to led. Now the 3rd brake light doesn’t work

So you set all rear lighting to LED and DID NOT install the resistors? I did this also, and the lights work, but now the 3rd brake light is out LMAO!

Did you try to take the setting back to factory and see if the third brake light works again. Mine went out at about 18,000 miles and had to be replaced. It was covered by the factory warranty

I would do that and see if it works or not because it may have already been out. No telling how long mine was out before a buddy of mine noticed it when he was following me.
