Slowly working up to ordering a 2021....waiting for any new colors.
I'm looking for advice on whether to order these options on the truck or add after taking delivery....
  1. Rock Rails/steps
  2. Roll up tonneau cover (had a bakflip on my F-150 and was very happy)
  3. Spray in bedliner or go with a Bed Rug (also had one on the F-150)
  4. Hartop headliner.
Thanks for any input....stay well

It depends on your ability to install them. If you will be paying someone to install, why not order it with the truck?

If you want the trail rails and bedliner, I would definitely order those factory installed. Same with the AUX switches and front camera.

The Hotheads headliner is better and less expensive than the factory headliner. But there's still the issue of installation. If it is going to be a problem, order them installed.

My preference is to have as much as possible done at the factory, especially if you're going to order and wait for it.

My recommendation would be as follows:

I went with a Rubicon so I am going to stick with the factory rails for now.

If you want the factory roll-up tonneau, order it since the price difference is huge when purchasing later.

I would skip the factory liner and either get Line-X (lifetime warranty and thicker spray) or the bed rug.

Hardtop headliner can be had cheaper aftermarket.
