About half way done with episode two.
Id love a some critique on the video style if anyone would like to give any. Im thinking less talking haha or sprinkle it in. Do you guys like the commentary? I try not to keep it dry and maybe toss a joke in there as I can, but I also try and make content people will enjoy watching.

I've heard lots of snow but the moab area reports like 1". What sorta temperatures do you guys get? Ky swings wild from low 30s to zero. Snow is anyone's guess 1-3" but every now and again could be a few feet.

Up until this last one, winters have been pretty mild here last several years. Last year was brutal and set all kinds of records for snow. It made us think of moving back to Nevada. Utah is great to live in, we are less than 4 hits from Moab, we can do quick trips here any time we want.

Maybe some of you guys can tell me what this character is. We saw it all over Utah, especially Moab. Its like some sort of indian petroglyph or something that they turned into a mascot? Here is an example-

It’s the Kokopelli

I moved out 20 years ago! If I have to go east of the front range of the Rockies I want to cry!
I have NEVER regretted moving out here. And the winters are nothing. Almost no snow unless you are in the mountains. We go to Moab every December, only once have we had to stay off the slick rock, and that was only for a day. (you do need to be careful on shaded areas though)

I live near Cincinnati. It'll be I-74, to I-70 all the way. It'll be an exciting trip for my family, because we've never seen the Rockies, plus this will be the longest road trip we've ever taken
70w through CO is one awesome stretch after another. Further west the highway runs on a shelf through a deep canyon, gorgeous. It's one state that is just a blast to drive through. Get that top down if you can convince the kids!

Nicely done! Great shots of the vistas and mountains in there. Great drone footage. Looks like a fun trip!

I terms of your feedback request: Me personally, I like there to be a fair amount of talking in terms of describing what we are seeing, how the day went, etc vs just lots of video, still shots and music beds. Not saying it has to be non-stop yak-fest, but maybe toss in a specific hill or place name the drone is shooting or what you rain into. The spots where you were talking about the storms hitting are a good example. Makes you feel more a part of it.

If you haven't seen his videos before, check out The Story Till Now on YouTube. Canadian guy up in British Columbia that has some of the best offroad videos IMO.

Oh Im with ya on the talking and telling where we are etc. sometimes honestly I just dont know, the rain shots for example - some highway (I actually think the location was in episode 1).
Ill probably start doing more when i get an actual mic to record proper voice over with. (been using my phone lol). Thanks for the advice, ill work on improving those areas. :)
