Outer axel seals?

I know this is the gladiator forum, but I was fixing to put some outer axle seals in the front of my TJ. Was curious if anyone had any experience with these.

I’m having second thoughts I ride through a lot of water and I’m scared that the seals may hold in more water than they keep out?

You are in luck. My son bought a TJ with wrecked frame for $1 from my ex brother in law and 1 side had the seal and the other did not. This TJ was wheeled and the seal was on for 10+ years. We redid the whole front - unit bearings, brakes, etc. the side without the seal - just the factory slinger had a bit more debris and rust than the side with the seal. Didn’t seem like the seal did a lot but it wasn’t bad either. YMMV
