Been looking at a pelican box or similar, how do you plan on mounting it? Looking to move all my recovery gear into it.I store my spare gas cans, Joolca shower, and traction boards on the outside. Shovel and axe on the inside. I am going to remove the Joolca and put a Pelican box in its place. It's a V700 vault takedown case that I ordered if I am remembering correctly.
There is also a tent up top and an awning attached.
I will drill holes in it and use carriage bolts to hold it in place. Will put in some rubber washers as well for waterproofing.

I drilled three holes in the case and put rivnuts through them. Then I bought some 1/8" thick plastic that I cut down to size for the inside of the case to act as load distribution so the plastic would not be stressed. Then I used some threaded knobs to feed through the rack and attached to some nuts to tighten down. More than enough room for straps and blocks and shackles. I ended up ditching the foam shown in the case and just put them in a bag that goes in there. I may move the heavier stuff like the snatch block and stuff to the inside of the bed and put my air compressor lines and connections in here instead.
