If i ordered now, I'd add the safety packages, dual doors, and dual tops. LEDs are also a must for me, but I did get those. Spray in bedliner. Tonneau cover. I'd throw in the selec-trac too, but I drive manual, so it wasn't an option. The regular 4wd does well in the snow though, so I'm not too bummed. In GA, you probably don't need it though.

Damn, I forgot they started offering half-doors on the Gladiator. There's really part of me that's tempted to buy them, but I cannot imagine how much they'd cost after the fact.

A lift might mess with blind spot detection, but it's worth noting that there are no sensors in the bumper for the adaptive cruise... it's all handled with the camera and radar in a box at the top center of the windshield. I've only used it a little bit so far, but I can tell I'll love it once I get back to commuting regularly.

I regret not getting Selectrac/Rocktrac, but I live in snowy New England. Probably not worth it in GA, and the front to back weight distribution is better than any other truck I've driven, which reduces the need for the AWD option, anyway. You probably don't need the cold weather package either.

I like my steel bumper, but if I was doing it over, I might go with the cheap stock bumper and upgrade to an aftermarket winch bumper later. My trail cam is nice, but I would use it more if it was easier to engage. I wish there was an option to turn on the front camera every time I shift into Drive and leave it on for a number of seconds or until I hit a set speed. Honestly, I think it might have more useful potential for parallel parking than it does on the trail.

The base wheels look a lot better on the truck than they do in Jeep's online configurator, and I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the base Falken AT tires on the Rubicon. I originally planned to immediately ditch the stock wheels and tires for aftermarket wheels and BFG AT KO2s in a 35x12.50 equivalent, but these things have been nice enough to drive until I wear them out.

I went with the black flares and black hardtop. Depending on how you feel about Georgia summers, you may not get much mileage out of a soft top. I know here in New England, there aren't a lot of days when I don't want either heat or AC. With the hardtop, a headliner is a must, but there are cheap aftermarket options, so maybe I shouldn't have added that option. I did get the slush mats, but then I tore out the back seats and the rear slush mats and put them in storage, so I kind of wish I had opted for a cheaper aftermarket option.

I'll echo what others have said about the trail rail option not being as useful as E-Track or similar. If you really want that 115v outlet, you can get it in the back of the console with some combination of options. Get the aux switches. They're going to make adding lights or any other electrical gizmos a thousand times easier.
You can move your front camera icon down to the task bar. Makes it much easier to use.

Which package do you regret not getting?
I got mine in early 2020, so the options I wanted weren’t things I could do on a Sport S build then and some of them are still unavailable on the Sport (leather and bodycolor HT). This has resulted in me doing so much of it out of pocket and doing “close enough” versions.
I have toddlers so creature comforts hold a lot higher value to me in my current phase of life...

Things I missed out on:
- Selec-Trak T-case
- Remote Proximity Keyless Entry
- LED Package
- Leather
- Bodycolor Hardtop
- Front Facing Trail Cam
- Trail rails (mainly for the power outlet and lockable underseat box.

Well doing the Mojave.. but this is close.

I wasn't looking at the cold weather package bc I live in Ga.. like it gets cold here 15days a year. But I was doing the remote start. The cold weather package is a small jump over the remote start.. hadn't noticed that at all.

I also like the black rims of the Mojave and I don't want to upgrade tires bc I want to go up a size with the 2nd set.. so I am not really trying to speed more on that for the first batch.
I live in Central Alabama, my Cold Weather Package gets used soo much still. I like the cold weather, but I also like to have a warm ass and hands. I'm pretty sure the steering wheel heater could be used to cook meat, thing gets sooo hot.

So right now I am leaning towards this...

Everything but Trail Rail and Selectrac... I know you guys will think that's nuts but in Ga, I don't know if Selectrac is really needed and that money balances out some of the safety things. I have looked at a few trucks on the lot and they don't have Selectrac so I think it's uncommon in ga.

Just need to build and send to Daniel to get a quote.

If you get the spray in bedliner after market make sure they dont spray over the holes for the trail rails or you'll have to rethread them.

Definitely get the Aux switches!

I have the Halogen lights and they are just fine for me in the city. I live in Salt Lake I've heard of people getting the LED lights and snow will collect on them blocking the light but with the halogen they are hot enough to melt the snow. Besides if I want more light there are a lot of options out there for a Jeep.

I love the safety package this is my first truck and I probably would have side swiped a few people if it weren't for those sensors. The adaptive cruise control is awesome on road trips.

I love having the proximity key thing it's great being able to just walk up to your truck and having it unlock without pushing a button.

I wish I got the Front trail cam because I live in Utah and plan on rock crawling a lot in Moab.
