Next year I plan on doing the TAT trans american trail with my dad, I figured this would be a great opportunity for us to do one last milestone together. He is getting older (in his early 70's) so this would be a great last adventure for a father a son. I have been overnight camping and small stuff but never taken this big of adventure before. So I am not entirely sure what I should bring. I have been doing research on the TAT website and on GPSkevin but, the information is really geared towards motorcycle riders. We will be doing the treck in my Gladiator Rubicon so I know we have the means. If anyone out there has done the TAT before and can share any information it would be very appreciated. Keep on Keeping!✌

Sorry I don't have any advise for the trip but I think this will be a trip of a lifetime for you both and I hope you make lasting memories! It's a real thing to start taking these moments to heart when parents start living out their 70's - 80's.
