For anyone wanting to paint their top before installing any headliners, we recommend leaving the area the headliner would be covering, bare (unpainted). This will ensure the best adhesion to the fiberglass top. There are too many various paints on the market and we're not confident they will all properly adhere to the adhesive. Plus, if you have to remove the adhesive for any reason, it will likely remove the paint it's stuck to. If anyone has any questions, I'm always happy to help.
