I've got my phone paired to the 5" base unit in my JT SS and it works fine. Recently my wife has asked to pair her phone as well. We've tried several times, to no avail. Is there a trick to pairing more than a single device to the base level system?

I don't have the base radio, but I remember having to turn off the paired phone if is near by. Once I turned off my phone, the wife's phone was able to be paired immediately.

Thanks - didn't think to try that.

Terrible on my 7. I brought it up at the dealer and the tech paired his phone no problem. I switched to a hardwire connection with android auto and spotify. I don't even try anymore.

Another thing that may help with pairing issues is to make sure the phone system apps are up to date and a phone power off/on restart has been performed.
