Hello everyone! it seems that part 6MH84RXFAB belongs to a jeep wrangler... not sure if that would actually make a difference... I am in the process of doing the same type of conversion to my overland and when i purchased the bezels at the dealer they were a different part number... When i get home i can send you the part numbers and pictures

I am a little stuck here. I have the park sensor bezels and brackets for all 4 holes (8 different part numbers). I am trying to connect them together before I ram them into the metal bumper. It looks like the bezel can be snapped into the sensor hole from the outside (with some force) and the bracket can slide into the bezel from the outside and the sensor snapped into the bracket from the inside.

But when I assemble all three pieces together it looks like the bracket will protrude noticeably out from the bezel. Isn’t everything supposed to be flush with the bumper?

Anyone else done this that can offer some guidance?

Well I had the order of march wrong. Bracket goes on from the outside and bezel locks over it from the inside. It is pretty hard to screw up, all the parts are number matched and the brackets even have notches for the correct orientation on the bumper. I did keep the sensors themselves in the same position from the old bumper but I don't see why they wouldn't be interchangeable.

What’s the part number of that ring that goes on the inside of the bumper? Is that what’s holding the sensor brackets in place?

Thanks!

There are four different part numbers for the bezels because each one is different:

@noelskii yep, that’s the one. Again, unique part number for each of the four locations on the bumper.

So these are the retainers for the outside bezels to keep them in place? I have the unique bezels for the outside of the bumper, for the Outers and inners. The part numbers you are referring to are the ones that keep them in place from the inside part of the bumper right? Right now my only solution is to glue the bezels in order to keep them in place…

Unless I am getting my terminology backwards, the ones you have that attach from the outside of the bumper are the sensor brackets. The ones that lock the brackets into place from the inside of the bumper are the bezels which I posted earlier. You will know which bracket goes with which bezel because they are number matched.

I just checked the diagram again and I believe it is a little misleading because it makes it seem like the bezels attach from the outside of the bumper and the brackets go inside, but that is not correct.

So to answer your question, yes you need those bezels otherwise there is nothing stopping the sensor from just hanging loose from the bumper. You need 8 unique parts in total (plus the sensors themselves).

thank you! the other forum said the brackets needed to be glued on coz there’s nothing to hold it from the inside part of the bumper. Smh. Thank you!

I had the plastic bumper on a Sport S. The bezels were plastic welded to the bumper. The holes in the Magnum bumper are slotted so that the Ram bezels can only be inserted one way from the outside. Snapping the sensor into the bezel from inside the bumper locks it all together but the bezels won’t rotate.
I still haven’t installed my new rear bumper. Are you saying that the sensor bezels aren’t re-usable?

They aren’t terribly expensive, but I figured I could re-use them since I’m putting the same bumper back on. I’d imagine that an overland bumper and a Sport S bumper are pretty similar.

That is correct. The sensor brackets on the plastic bumper are basically molded into the bumper itself so there is nothing to remove.

Sorry for necroing this one, but I screwed up my order and didn't get the steel bumpers, and I have the parksense.

Did you just order the rear bumper with parksense? I can't seem to find it
