Went to back out of garage today and when I put it in reverse this auto park enabled light kept coming on ? Sounded like it was I neutral and wouldn’t move. I didn’t want to force it. The shift lever moved fine back and forth but wouldn’t move in reverse ? Tried many times shutting off and restarting and finally what ever it was cleared and it moved. It felt like it would of went forward when it did this but this thing barely fits Ins my garage so that was a big no, no !! Is this auto park or auto park brake maybe , if there is such a thing ? I’ve tried a bunch of times today and can’t duplicate this ? Wondering if anybody else has had this happen ? I know my Chrysler 300 had an auto park system where you could open drivers door and with it in gear and it would automatically go into park If you forgot , But it would never get stuck there when you restarted the car.

People Work?
The sensor was detecting something. Press the button to disable.
Mine does it when the tailgate is down or I'm towing a trailer.

The Jeep has Auto Park like your Chrysler 300. It engages if you open the door, lift your butt up off the seat, or have the seat belt undone.

I just got mine and it has done the exact same thing as this. Twice.
Drive and Reverse binking on and off. It tells me shifter not in park.

Shifter not in park and Auto Park engaging are usually two separate issues. You should start a separate thread with more detail about your problem.
