Hi everyone,
Just introducing myself to start. New to the Gladiator community but not new to Jeeps at all. Just picked up this 22 Gobi Mojave. Nothing crazy is planned for this one. TBH, I originally wasn't a fan of the gladiators. I figured they were too big to wheel and too small to do truck stuff. I finally came around and decided that I have a Jeep for actually wheelin (06 LJ, metal cloaked out, currie/carbon d44's with 5:38. chromos, and eaton e lockers, now 37's) and I have a truck for doing big truck things (96 Ram 3500 4x4 dually cummins with some stuff done to it to the tune of 550 hp), but I'm missing a small truck for light offroading/hunting, and a small truck for those small home depot runs, and something that is actually nice to drive. Believe it or not, old dually trucks and old jeeps are not that comfortable on long trips. Enter the Mojave. Probably going to throw some 35's on it for now and run it.
Initial impression is I love it. I'm super impressed with how it handles the poorly maintained forest roads at speed. I wish I could have rear lock and offroad plus in 2wd. Other than that, I'm in love.
