Specifically looking for the connection between the plastic bumper and the skid plate.

It just looks to me like i have unnecessarily unnecessarily large space between the skid plate and the bumper.

And if you look at the bottom of the bumper in the pictures it looks like there are screws where the skid should attach, or maybe that’s just where the plastic scared would attach I’m not sure..

Note: im aware the bolt on the front of the skid is missing. I have the brackets and im just waiting on the bolts to arrive

Skid plate does not attach to the plastic bumper. I was surprised to find that out.

Wooooow that’s actually...surprising. I feel like it would create a lot of drag

I wonder if the plastic skid could be swapped in. Im just curious if id notice any difference in mpg or anything

Plastic skid is almost identical if I remember right but you'll need some new rivnuts to install it - it uses different holes than the steel one.

i was able to find some videos of folks removing theirs to put on something else earlier. Gave me a good look at it, I'm pretty sure I have everything I need to bolt my sport one right on. Ill be trying tonight
