What side steps are you using?
I have 2 little ones that after new tires are having a harder time climbing up.
If possible, share the link of where you purchased.

Thank you

Do the JLU rims have the same weight capacity as the JT rims?
There have been articles posted stating the Jeep engineers had to increase the strength of the JT wheels to be able to handle the extra payload/towing capacity, so based off that, they do have different capacities. I have not actually been able to find any articles saying how much they were improved though, and there's safety factors built into everything they design, so as long as you're not pushing the vehicle to it's max capacity, you should still be within the JL wheel's capability (remember the 4-door wrangler is rated to tow 3500 lbs, 1310 lb max payload for a sport). If you actually plan to push the vehicle, I'd stick to stock JT wheels, or aftermarket that have an actual documented weight rating.

I was just wondering, I like those rims but I'm happy with the upgraded Rubicon rims I ended up finding. Anything is better than those stock S aluminum rims.

Saw this thread thought I would post what I have so far.
Sport S Max Tow
RC2.5" level on front with Daystar 3/4 spacer on rear. Rubicon shocks and springs all the way around Subject to change as I will most likely swap rear springs for the stock Max Tow springs, Rubicon springs feel too "Squishy")
Willy's Wheelers wheels with 35" Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 tires.
Rubicon Rockers
SpyderTrax 1.5in wheel spacers (Probably didn't need these for rubbing, but I like the look. This will change down the road with aftermarket wheels)

Better, but the only color I really think they look OK on is the greys. I still think your black would look better with black that has the aluminum highlights.
I agree. That’s what I have on with ATs for the daily driving but slap on the stocks with MTs for the trail

I think they look ok with 35” MTs.

I do too, they actually look great. If they were painted gunmetal or flat black, i think they would look even better.

Are the dimensions (width, back spacing, etc.) of the Sport S wheels different than the stock Rubicon wheels? I have searched, but came up empty with the specs on each wheels.

Thanks! Yes the back spacing is the same I’m running rubicon AT takeoffs and both fit great.
