There’s about 7-8 guys on the Wrangler side doing Pinyon mountain on the 20th of this month. Seems like the SoCal area is as slow as molasses on this site, but I figured I would share anyways. Would love to see some other JTs out there with me. Meet up will likely be 9-10am just off the start of the trail, I’ll get exact details and post here if anyone is interested.

Sounds like you’ll be ready to run it again in 3 weeks ?

Pretty long drive from up here in NorCal :( I'll likely be back there in February though

Bumping this up for the weekend. Doesn’t look like there are any Gladiators in Southern California anymore ?‍♂

Likewise. I spend more time on the wrangler site and I don’t even drive one. I see Gladiators everywhere out here in the IE but apparently none of them have phones or computers.

I figure about everything forward of the rear seat is the same, and there’s ten times more wrangler owners, so more DIY info, etc. to read.

I just saw this yesterday.
I’m interested in Pinyon Mountain but not sure I’m ready for that one yet.
The Mojave can handle it but the driver is the weak spot. ?

My wife is going in her JLU sport, and my buddy is going in his bone stock TJ. I’m pretty sure you’ll be just fine if you’d like to tag along with us.

I am tempted. Maybe I need to think more about it.
You will be just fine if you want to go, there’s two other gladiators going so you won’t be the only one. We have a great spotter going with us that I trust as well.

Anyone on this forum should fit through The Squeeze unless they've got crazy offset wheels. Though I wish I'd #1: pulled straight forward a little farther at the end, to avoid that scrape, and #2: had my front swaybar connected. The rear axle remains flat and the front axle drops down left, exactly at the point where you want your bodywork to lean left away from the passenger-side wall. Since I had disconnected, the body followed the rear axle and clearance on the right was tight. Leave the front connected and the body will follow the front axle.

Heart Attack Hill is IMO the bigger mental challenge, and a good spotter is all you need to talk you through it.
