I’m going to rehydrate this thread hoping it’ll rekindle some conversation on the topic. I’ve since taken the RTT off my truck and it’s brought my comfort level up significantly. . .
The steepest slope's I've had the sense to check the meter on: 19* side slope, 30* up. The 30* up section is on a steep hill climbing up from our lower field to the barn. At this point in the year it's matted grass and field herbs 18-36" long with broken uneven ground beneath. The truck doesn't feel a bit unstable climbing this (even with my RTT still on the back 😐) The grass was wet two days ago when I did this so I popped into 4L to avoid tearing up the ground spinning wheels. She tootled on up with just a bit of throttle and no drama. The real limiting factor up/down is going to be grip and driver grit. I can't imagine approaching an end over roll on any surface other than rock or sand (in the case you stuff it).

For reference, the sketchiest hill I've "climbed" was standing in the turret of a HMMWV going up over and down a 45* angle hill obstacle on a "mobility course" (mil-speak for an offroad park used for training). When the instructions are to tuck into the turret and for the passengers to try to pull you in if the vehicle rolls or you'll be cut in half, you question your choices. Physics dictate your best hope is to be thrown clear. This was the one part of the switch to 5-point harnesses and remote weapon systems that I was ok with.

Personally I've gotten to ~27° of roll as my record. Anything over ~20° feels sketchy, though in reality it's fine. Slowly getting use to it more and more though I only egg it on when needed. My studies show it's somewhere in the mid 30's when the airbags could deploy so there's your hard limit.

Pitch I really never feel nervous about. I've gone into the upper 20's with that.

The airbags do not go off due to pitch or roll. I’ve unfortunately been tilted to 90* previously and no airbag

I've seen 30° going over the backside of a dune. I don't know if I'd want to roll that much.

I haven’t read this entire thread..…but this makes me chuckle…..

Let your ass-cheeks tell you when you’re uncomfortable. 😂 and after a while, your ass-cheeks will lie to you and you’ll be sucking fabric and purging oil from your cylinders😂
