I purchased my Gladiator a few months back and noticed that it came with a plastic bed liner. I’ve never hear of this as an option and am wondering if it’s even worth keeping.
If not what’s the easiest way to remove it without damaging the bed?

If you don’t have a spray in liner I would keep it and put a rubber mat on top of that it’s what I have always done on my trucks the bed liner looks good in there

Get rid of it. They hold water underneath and they scratch the paint. Since you have a tonneau cover, just get a rubber bed mat. Put it on craig's list. Someone will buy it. That's what I always do.

When applying a spray-in liner, they scratch the bed anyway.

Yes, but it's sealed. I'm talking about the rust that results from the standing water under the plastic. The bed liner will rub away the paint in spots and when it gets wet...………...

I would get rid of it. Tie a rope to each side of the liner at the bottom of the bed sides. Then tie the rope to a team of sled dogs and yell mush.

If that doesn't work eat the sled dogs. We are in tuff times these days.;)

I’d keep it but it depends on what you’ll be doing with your bed. Most, if not all, spray in liners do little to nothing to protect the bed from dents. I’ve owned many trucks through the years and have only used the drop in liners with no issues.

Keep it, way better protection than any spray in. Rust is a non issue, my 10 year old Tundra has had a drop in since day 1 no issues.

And you have pulled it out and checked what's going on underneath it? I want pics.

My experience is drop in liners rub, scuff, scratch and wear down the paint to bare metal. They hold moisture underneath whether it leaks in or gets there as condensation.

Spray in liners are they way to go. Really good ones like Line - X and such.
