@Godfadr nailed it. I took my speaker in the house to give it a good look over while having a cup of coffee and my iPad handy for research. Powered on, pressed the Bluetooth button for 5 to 10 seconds. I heard a beep and saw it appear in my iPhone Bluetooth devices. Done in under a minute just using common pairing procedure.I have not seen that unit in person, but most Bluetooth speaker setups have two functions...
1. The speaker itself needs to go into 'pairing mode' - on most speakers that entails pressing and holding a Bluetooth button (usually has the logo on it). Sometimes that button has a light that will flash for confirmation mode.
2. On the phone, go to Bluetooth devices. (Typically General ---> Bluetooth). Choose the name of the speaker from that list.
It also has a mic so it will work as a speakerphone. My brother called me while I was futzing with the speaker. It was a quick call so I didn’t have time to let him know and get a sound check. I can see this being handy for family calls to the grandparents and the like when tailgating and such
