I thought it would be a nice addition to add the bluetooth speaker but see that the charging dock would need to be added. So, does the pigtail for charging the speaker exist if I get the dock? Thanks!

The wiring harness for the Bluetooth Speaker dock includes power to charge plus a connection to the Audio system. Unless it's factory installed, the harness is not there.

If you install the dock, you will have to add the wiring so the charger portion works. It takes up storage space, and is expensive. Using aftermarket Bluetooth Speakers and charging through the USB port on the back of the center console is a better value proposition.

Actually I’m in the process of adding this.

I have a sport s without the subwoofer so I was already aware I didn’t have the connector for the charger back there.

In order to install obviously I have to wire it and change out the cab back trim(there are a couple other things I had to get too but those are the main two things)
For the connector, after much research I bought this
Hirschmann Nitrox Sensor Connector
Off AliExpress
It does clip in/ connect with the connector on the charger

I don’t plan on wiring the audio, just the power.
I figured out which pin is connected to the wireless speaker fuse. I’m just going to pin it exactly how it would be from factory, just won’t be apart of the harness and will be an independent wire run. run it under the floor/wall trim from passenger footwell straight back

No clue if this will be helpful for you but if you really want to add it this is the route I’m going. Some people will say this is a waste but I got the speaker itself for an actual steal on eBay and I enjoy learning more about my vehicle

Thanks JessH1, I do have the subwoofer and have contacted Benny suggested by Kevman65, Benny gave me the links to the pigtail and charger the speaker sits in, just waiting to see how much cash I have left after bills to order the part/s. Been spending lot's of money on this jeep as I knew I would.

It's easy--you need to buy the connector pack 68396618AB to plug into the cradle. Connect that to the attached 12V tap from quadratec and you're good to go. Mine is set up to use the cradle just to charge. No issues.........

But you'd still have to buy the cradle, correct? I tried just putting the speaker in the existing non charging cradle and it wont fit and it doesn't have the charger in it anyway so I probably just answered my own question...
