Possible Order Delay Reason?

In my wee mind I sometimes wonder if some of the Jeep orders take longer because of the chosen color.
maybe one color was very popular and another wasn’t, I’m thinking some would have to wait longer for the correct shorter paint run.
the things I think about while I impatiently wait for my 22 JTRD

Yeah, color selection does play into wait times.

A couple of years ago I was looking to custom order a RAM 2500 in Detonator Yellow as they called it. Was told by a couple of fleet sales managers to expect a way longer wait as they had to queue up at least 5+ like configuration orders to do a run in that color. Not just 5 in the same color but 5 in the same trim level and similar options.
