Color? Seems to be a trend if you are not Granite Crystal then your status went to D with a VIN#. Granite seems to be C status awaiting a run of Granite color LE's!

I am not sure that our VONs were issued in sequential order. I say this because the numbers were all over the place. They may me assigned by dealer or region or both.

Fair enough point, but is sure seems like they are. The VONs would also be for all of FCA or Jeep not just gladiator so I am sure other orders came in for other vehicles during that timeframe. For reference my VON is 43590xxx. I got my call at 0915 EDT on 4/4 and had a deposit and submitted order by 1200 EDT on the same day.

What about using a VON? That answers half my question. Are people using the FCA chat to find out if VIN is assigned? Then using the VIN tracker after it’s assigned?

You can use the Chat to get any info. Seems to be good 99% of the time. VIN tracker is for after you have a VIN assigned. You can use the Chat or your Dealer for VIN number and status.
